The Runyan Acres Volunteer Fire Department is accepting sealed bids for the fire engine below.

Recent Maintenance performed includes new tires in 2022, tank inspection/repair in 2023, full service in May, 2023, fluid and filter changes, and air brake system service/repair in 2025. Pump packing needed (water leaking from pump into transfer case). Pump test is over a year old, but pump is operational. No other significant known issues.

Eligibility: All interested parties are eligible to submit bids.

Timelines: All sealed bids MUST BE RECEIVED before Monday, July 14^th, 2025.

Viewing: The truck is available for in-person inspection and viewing until the submission deadline by contacting the Fire Chief.

Review: Bids will not be opened until the RAVFD Board Meeting at 7pm on July 15^th, 2025. In the event of meeting postponement, announcements will be posted via Facebook and at www.ravfd.com. Bids will be evaluated based on the highest bidder. Preference may be given to Fire Departments over other submissions at the discretion of the RAVFD Board of Commissioners.
